Just 20 miles down I-90, you may have noticed a line of cars that frequently line the street parallel to the highway. I’ve always wondered what they were there for and finally did today – it’s the base of Tiger Mountain in Issaquah.
Tiger Mountain is a great place to explore when you’re looking for an easy, quick escape from the city. There are many trails in the area, but we decided to try West Tiger 3 Trail.
Verdict? Crowded trail, slippery snow at the top and the need for averting falling snow that was melting from the trees. BUT, great workout, beautiful views and always great people watching on the trail.
